Pars Auto Market – Refund & Return Policy

Introduction

At Pars Auto Market, our mission is to ensure a safe and secure experience for both buyers and sellers. This Refund, Return & Warranty Policy outlines how refunds, returns, disputes, and warranty claims are handled on our platform.

1. Escrow & Buyer Inspection Window

All payments made on Pars Auto Market are held in escrow through our payment processor (Stripe) until the transaction is confirmed complete. When a shipment is marked as delivered, a 48-hour buyer inspection window begins automatically.

How the Inspection Window Works:

  • The buyer receives a delivery confirmation email with two buttons: ”Everything Looks Good” and ”Report a Problem.”
  • If the buyer clicks ”Everything Looks Good,” the escrow is released immediately and the seller’s payout becomes eligible.
  • If the buyer clicks ”Report a Problem,” a dispute ticket is opened and the seller’s payout is paused while our team reviews the case.
  • If the buyer takes no action within 48 hours, the escrow is automatically released and the seller’s payout becomes eligible.

Seller Withdrawal Eligibility:

  • Once payout is eligible (buyer confirmed, or 48-hour window expired with no dispute), the seller can request a withdrawal from their “My Payment” page.
  • Once approved by the admin, the amount is transferred to the seller’s connected bank account.
  • An active dispute pauses payout until the dispute is resolved by Pars Auto Market.

This window gives buyers time to inspect the item and report any issue before funds are permanently released to the seller.

2. Returns (When Seller Accepts Returns)

2.1 Return Window

  • If the seller has indicated that they accept returns, the buyer has 7 days from the delivery date to initiate a return request.
  • All return requests must be submitted through the Pars Auto Market platform within this window.

2.2 Item Condition

  • Returned items must be in the same condition as delivered, including all original packaging and components.
  • Items that are damaged, altered, or missing parts may not be eligible for a refund.

2.3 Return Shipping

  • Once a return is approved:
    • The buyer must use a Pars Auto Market EasyPost return label, choosing a carrier at checkout.
    • The item must be shipped back within the timeframe provided in the return approval email.
    • Return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.

2.4 Refund Issuance

  • Refunds are issued directly from escrow via Stripe. Pars Auto Market will determine how much to refund based on the situation:
    • A full refund may be issued if the item is damaged or not as described.
    • If the item is eligible for return but not defective, Pars Auto Market may deduct the 4% or $6.50 buyer fee and the return shipping label fee from the refund.
  • Refunds typically appear on the buyer’s original payment method within 7 business days of processing.

3. Items Not Eligible for Return

3.1 No Returns Accepted Listings

  • If the seller has marked the item as “No Returns Accepted,” the buyer is not eligible for a return unless the item is not as described.
  • The buyer must report the issue within the 48-hour inspection window by clicking “Report a Problem” in the delivery email, or by contacting support@parsautomarket.com with their order number.
  • Pars Auto Market will evaluate the claim and may request photos, videos, or other evidence.

3.2 Resolution Process

If the claim is valid, Pars Auto Market may:

  • Require the buyer to return the item using a trackable EasyPost label
  • Issue a full or partial refund
  • Take enforcement actions, such as warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans against the seller

4. Warranties

  • Some items sold through Pars Auto Market may include a manufacturer’s or seller’s warranty, while others are sold “as is” without any warranty. Warranties are solely between the seller or manufacturer and the buyer.
  • If you have questions about whether a specific product includes a warranty, please email us at support@parsautomarket.com before purchasing.
  • To submit a warranty claim, email support@parsautomarket.com or submit an inquiry through the Platform, including your order number and a detailed explanation of the issue.
  • If a warranty claim is found valid by the seller or manufacturer, the resolution is generally either a replacement part or a refund. Pars Auto Market’s role is to facilitate the connection between the buyer and the seller/manufacturer for the claim.
  • Pars Auto Market is not responsible for determining warranty validity or providing replacements/refunds directly.

5. Final Decisions & Dispute Resolution

Pars Auto Market’s determination in any refund, return, or warranty dispute is final and binding. We reserve the right to:

  • Make the final decision on all disputes
  • Suspend or terminate accounts abusing the system
  • Modify this policy at any time, with prior notice to users
